WWOC/USACK Downriver Team Trials Entry Form

WWOC Downriver Race Rules

Located on the World Famous Arkansas River we are pleased to provide our home as your home away from home for a week of fierce competition.

Plans are moving forward nicely and our momentum is building now. If you are interested in providing sponsorship please contact us. Various sponsorship packages are available.

Tenative Schedule:
Dates for Boat Control, Registration, bib pick up are 6/13 in the PM..
Racers meetings and racing 6/14 - 17 am. Daily Boat Control, bib pick
up, registration, and awards 6/14 - 17 pm. We are operating out of
Salida east which is the place we began the sprints last time you were
in CO. This will cut a little distance off the classic race, but we
don't want to conflict with the rodeo/freestyle/slalom mayhem down at
the Salida Boat Ramp. Sprint is through Bear Creek. Classic is
Salida East to Rincon. Valley Bridge through Little Cottonwood is our
back up.

Western Jr. Wildwater Team Trials will do their sprint with WWOC and
will do their classic race through Cottonwood and Little Cottonwood
6/18.

Lodging:
You can find lodging, camping, and restaurant info at
www.salidachamber.org. Two places that are nice (clean), like boaters,
and support FIBArk are Salida Super 8 - 719 539 6689 (talk to Don or
Brit) and

Holiday Inn Express - 719 539 8500.

Camping is free at Salida East, but there's not much there but us and
other boater riff raff.

There's a big road bike contingent coming into town Sunday of FIBArk
weekend and making reservations soon is probably a good idea.

The FIBArk competition chairwoman is going to put us in their mailing
and in their program. We should let people know about the FIBArk
Festival in return.
