A pre Race and post run review … Not to be reviewed with the athlete but rather used as internalized review for the athlete only.
This process must be taught to each athlete to best understand the ideas of periphery imagery and ideal emotional and physical review in each athletes mind.

Seeing yourself through an imaginary video camera that maintains a 300 cm distance above your head …………….
- Through each gate what do you see?
-What were the quality of your strokes?
-What type of edge control was present?
-Feeling the water rise and descend while you were turning… did you float like a bird or sink like a stone?
- Was there a consistent pull like a ticking clock with your strokes creating a perfect rhythm? Was this a ballroom rhythm……. Or a hard rock show (out of control)?
Now taking what you learned from your first run….. how can you repeat that perfect feel….. how can you better your feel on your second run?
By closing your eyes imagine your second run, hear the start tone…
3-2-1…. Go..
Run your perfect race on this perfect day. It is your day to be the best that you can be.
When you are complete with the imagery of the second run, stand up and breath deep in your nose and exhaling through your mouth while performing small arm circles. You will feel any and all stress be cleansed from your body and mind.
Begin you warm up routine and remember the complete quality of your presence once sealing your cockpit.
This is your time to prove to yourself that you are the best that you can be on this given day.
Good Luck!
