Where to begin to thank the coaches for the experiences you created
this summer?

You created opportunities for fun, adventure, growth,
friendship, introspection...the list is endless. We're sure that this was a
life defining experience for our child, and we imagine for the other athletes as
well.

Additionally, the three of you created a synergy that allowed other
experiences as well. Because of your leadership, we observed a great deal
of passion and compassion. We saw a supportive group of athletes that
recognize their own dignity and that of others. This is profound. As we
observe the chaos in the world and pray for resolution, we often visualize
greater safety and human dignity. Because of the atmosphere and
opportunities that you provided, not only do the paddlers have more of these
qualities, but there are more of them in the world. We firmly believe that
there is more passion, compassion, and dignity in the world because of your
work.
