This event will host the top High School Canoe and Kayak Racers in Colorado and the Nation. This event brings together beginners to Olympic Development canoeists and kayakers testing their skills on the safe and scenic reach of the Platte River at 20th Street.
There will also be a low key freestyle at Trestle Rapid just below the slalom course.
Whether you are trying to tune your skills for the upcoming river running season or are reaching toward the Olympic Rings, you will be welcomed at this event.
Lunch and music will be provided throughout this event. Expect a low key but FUN race as youth and adults test their skills.

- Who- EVERYONE...Beginner to Advanced (Homestays available for out of town guests at no charge)
- Time- 9:00-1:00; Awards at 1:30

This event will also act as a kick off to the Save the Platte River Initiative and a warm up to the North American Junior Olympics.
