8th: Denver Flatwater #2.- 20th Street Course
This race is a combined wildwater, freestyle and slalom race held at our 20th street flatwater course. This race will have more water due to snow melt than last months.
- Slalom- Expect safe fast water and gates set to challenge every level of paddler.
- Wildwater- A 1.5 mile sprint from 23rd street to our 20th Street Course on Class 3 water
- Freestyle- An easy fun class 2+ wave below the slalom course. Expect lots of cartwheels.
15-16th: CSM Spring Icebreaker- Golden
Fun race that includes Slalom, Wildwater, Boatercross, Kayak Polo, freestyle and the trash collection race.
College and high school teams from across the region participate in this 5 man team competition. Many Schools such as Cu, Univ of Wyoming and high school teams have 3 teams participating.

13-14 USA Whitewater Slalom Junior Team Trials- Wausau, WI
- Depart Denver on 5/8 returning on 5/15
- All advanced Slalom Athletes
- Top athletes after two days represent US at international Races
19-20 Colorado High School Cup Championships- Golden, Co
- Disciplines of Wildwater, Slalom and Freestyle
- Qualifier for Junior Olympics in Chiliwack, BC
27- June 3 Canadian Junior National Team Trials- Calgary, Alberta

19-24: FRPA Into to Kayak Camp
- All comers kayak camp specializing in introductory and intermediate Kayak Camp
- Learn to roll, kayak and the fundamentals of Canoe/Kayak control
- FRPA youth Mentors will be present to introduce the 5 Olympic Ideals and assist in daily lessons
25- July 8: FRPA High Performance Whitewater Racing Camp
- High Intensity Training Sessions with youth athletes from across North America
- 3 training sessions daily (2 water based and 1 running/cals) and class room sessions including sports psychology, Olympic Ideals, goal planning and group discussions
